This Dorcus is no dork. He has thick jaws but also thin feelers on the outside and inside. Underneath, he has a brown velvet-like beard that helps him get food in his mouth. He measures approximately 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide, tip to tip, and comes in a frame 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Just behind the head is a matte black thorax, followed by a shiny, reflective black abdomen. They have two sections, with the last one-half inch folding but also twisting back up to meet the rest of the wing.
